From Peter Jemmett (b.1958) : This is my mum and dads wedding day in 1939 - from left to right - Mary Ann Jemmett nee Glenister (dads mum - widowed in 1935), Frank Jemmett (dads brother), Bernard Jemmett (dad), Laura Jemmett, nee Smit (mum) and my mums parents. For historical interest, my mums dad (Wilhelmus Smit, a cabinet maker) built the grand staircase on the Titanic and turned down free tickets on the maiden voyage. He was also offered a partnership with Lucian Ercolani when he started the Ercol funiture empire http://www.ercol.com and turned that down as he didn't get on with Lucian - we've been poor ever since!.
