St. Mary Redcliff Church seen from Portwall Lane, where Martha Priscott was living when she married Charles Vicker in 1841. For some reason they married in St. Nicholas Church about half a mile away across the river.

The view along Portwall Lane, the right hand side now demolished and used as a car park.

The Portwall Tavern, just inside of the left. The only building looking old enough to have been there in 1841

The Church from across the road. Charles & Martha's children Martha and Alfred, and possibly more of the Vicker children, were baptised here.
