1878 death in the sub-district of Idle in the County of York
Second August 1878 Ellar Carr Lane, Idle
Julia Ridsdale Farrar, female, 69 years, Widow of Timothy Farrer land
agent, ??? certified by ?? Jones ??
Joseph Farrar, son, present at the death, Ellar Carr Lane, Idle, Fifth
August 1878, Matthew Baline Registrar
- in 1878 Joseph was married and was living in Idle, near Bradford.
It looks like Julia was living with them when she died.
More Farrers registered in Ecclesfield, probably Timothy's or John's
(see /|\)- there were very few
of them so probably all the same family. After 1849 Wintersett became
part of the Hemsworth district and there were no Farrers registered
there at all for the next 50 years, suggesting that this one family
had all moved to Heckmondwike soon after 1850.
