Powell Street, Heckmondwike. The houses on this side are three storeys with a semi basement, hence the steps up to the front door. On the other side of the street is a more conventional two storey terrace. If Joseph Farrer really was a bank manager when he lived in this street then this side seems more likely.

Heckmondwike Parish Church, just round the corner from Powell Street and almost certainly where Alice Farrer was Christened.
