all the pics on ths page were taken from my study window on July 31, 2001

the scene from the window across the broad beans to the wheat field

The pics below were taken with the zoom lens (up to 27x zoom)

this one goes along cutting the standing wheat, the corn is stored inside and the straw thrown out the back

when it's full of corn it goes over to the trailer and unloads it before going back to cut some more

meanwhile, this one drives along behind collecting the straw and turning it into bales which it leaves on the feild

then this one follows on collecting the bales....

...and puts them onto another trailer.

When the field is cleared they simply tow the trailers away and move on to another field...

the next day this one came along spreading fertiliser...

... then the following day this appeared to be muck spreading....
