a walk along the canal

A sunday afternoon stroll along the newly opened section of the canal:

The Navigation Inn from the canal towpath.

Further along the canal looking back at Hobnob, that's water at the bottom.

The new lifting bridge, now with water under it, and swans.
The pool on the right is for wildlife, no access for boats.

Down past the lift bridge, the stone bridge is the end of the water for now, you can just see a boat in front of the cottage. The arm on the right is a turning place for boats.
